Certificate IV in Mental Health

Are you working 20+ hours per week providing recovery-focused support to people with mental health conditions or psychosocial disabilities, but haven’t yet gained your Certificate IV in Mental Health?

With Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL), you can turn your existing skills and work experience into a nationally recognised qualification through our partner RTOs—without the need for classroom study.

Certify your Skills and Advance Your Career in Mental Health

If you’re already working in community-based programs supporting people with mental health conditions or psychosocial disabilities, getting your skills recognised can help you move forward in your career.

By completing the Certificate IV in Mental Health through Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL), you can turn your existing experience into a nationally recognised qualification—without starting from scratch.

This qualification can lead to roles such as Assistant Community Services Worker, Community Rehabilitation Worker, Community Support Worker, Mental Health Outreach Worker, and Outreach Officer. These roles often come with more responsibility and better pay, as many employers prefer candidates with formal qualifications.
